Chicago lost a poet, Chicago Public Art Group a long-time friend as David Hernandez passed away earlier today. David spoke/read poetry at CPAG dedications and fundraisers. He was a poet of the people. Chicago is a bit emptier today than we want to be.

Jim Prigoff, the worlds preeminent photographer of murals and long time friend of CPAG, will be speaking at Loyola University's downtown School of Communications Gallery on Wednesday at 3PM. Please join us if you can. Max Sansing will do a demonstration spray can painting afterward.

 The event will be in CPAG's new office and studio space located in the new Creative Industry District.

Bloomingdale Trail's Framework Plan

Chicago Public Art Group encourages you to come out to the community meeting tonight where the Bloomingdale Trail's Framework Plan will be presented. You'll get an early look at the planning for this new linear park and some details (from Chicago Public Art Group's work) on the public art potential.

**There is a 1 hour open house before and after the 6-7:30PM presentation.
